The OmbudService for Life & Health Insurance (OLHI) offers a free and impartial review of complaints about life and health insurance companies in Canada. 


OLHI can assist you by:

  • Answering your questions about the complaint process 
  • Guiding you on how to take your complaint to your insurer if you haven’t already  
  • Contacting your insurer on your behalf if they haven’t responded to your complaint within 90 days 
  • Reviewing your complaint if you are not satisfied with your insurer’s final position
